At our organization’s latest Executive Forum meeting, I had the privilege of presenting to Council members the highlights of our 2024 Annual Report. The full report, available in the Member Portal, is a powerful testament of all that we’ve accomplished and highlights future actions in our mission to address our country’s most pressing digital governance challenges.
Building a prosperous digital future
This year, we marked a significant milestone with the launch of our Digital Ecosystem Challenges. This initiative is designed to produce common building blocks—APIs, frameworks, and modular components—that not only facilitate rapid development but also foster greater cross-sector collaboration. These developments are already setting new standards and expanding technological capabilities, showcasing the immense potential of our collaborative, forward-thinking approach to innovation.
Through mutual collaboration, concerted effort and shared commitment across partnering organizations, we supported progress in enhancing healthcare data stewardship, urban planning, and financial services standards while strengthening privacy protections, cybersecurity resilience, and safeguarding the integrity of our democratic processes. By joining forces, we continued to advance strategic initiatives to develop world-class digital talent and foster responsible and trusted homegrown innovations. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to working together for a brighter, more prosperous and secure future.
Building Canada’s digital future, together.
Our success is deeply rooted in the strength of our membership. The dedication and insights from our members have been the cornerstone of our achievements. Together, we have developed a responsible digital ecosystem that stands as a model for innovation, security, and trust. By actively participating in forums and dialogues, our members have provided valuable insights, validated proof of concepts, and showcased the potential of emerging technologies.
As we look to the future, our focus remains steadfast on expanding our network of collaborators, exploring new opportunities for innovation, and continuing to lead with vision and purpose. We are committed to leveraging our collective expertise to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in Canada’s digital landscape.
Our members are at the heart of our success. And we continually welcome new members to help set the agenda for what we can accomplish together.
