This three-hour interactive workshop will focus on the practical aspects of mitigating risks in AI systems. Participants will learn to detect and mitigate bias and implement strategies to monitor and assess these systems. They will gain hands-on experience in building an ethics framework designed to mitigate risk through the stages of AI adoption. This is the second workshop in the AI Ethics series.

Participants will learn:
- Key concepts of responsible AI
- The importance of eXplainable AI (XAI) to ensure transparency, accountability, and human agency in AI systems.
- How to evaluate the benefits and limitations of different XAI methods.
- How to interpret fairness metrics and identify biases in AI systems.
- How to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the responsible deployment and use of AI.
- How to analyze the ethical implications of adopting an ethical-by-design approach to AI adoption, including identifying potential risks and benefits for the business and its stakeholders.
- How to create a robust ethical AI framework that aligns with the business values and goals.
