This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for nonprofit organizations delivering community and human service programming to define the depth, diversity and complexity of their digital capabilities. The Standard is particularly relevant to nonprofit organizations with basic digital needs, as opposed to those with highly technical missions or stakeholders requiring advanced digital capabilities.
This Standard is also applicable to not-for-profit organizations or other organizations with similar service models. The framework is not intended to prescribe how these skills and related processes should be implemented. Individual organizations shall need to design or refine their own policies, processes and practices given their scope, mandate, priorities and legislative authorities.
