The Digital Governance Standards Institute (DGSI), in partnership with Human Research Standards Organization (HRSO), is pleased to announce the opening of the public review period for the collaborative standard CAN/DGSI 100.10 / HRSO 300.03, Data Governance in Human Research.

This joint initiative marks a significant milestone in the governance of data through the human research lifecycle. The standard establishes a framework that ensures the reliability, verifiability, and responsible collection and use of human research data. The standard utilizes current regulations, policies, guidelines, and other normative documents to provide unambiguous requirements upon which procedures can be developed.

This standard applies to all individuals engaged in the conduct of human research. It also applies to for-profit and not-for-profit, public, and private organizations.

DGSI and HRSO invite all stakeholders including research participants to participate in this public review. This is a unique opportunity to provide feedback and contribute to the future of data governance in human research and a safer, more reliable research environment.

The public review period for CAN/DGSI 100.10 / HRSO 300.03 will commence on January 23 2025 and end on March 28 2025 . To review the standard and submit feedback please visit CAN/DGSI 100-10 / HRSO 300.03
