The Standard for Health Data and Information Capability Framework Opens for Annual Maintenance

CAN/DGSI 100-5  |  Data Governance – Part 5: Health Data and Information Capability Framework is undergoing its annual maintenance and is open for public review! This standard provides guidance to health information organizations on the collection, use, storage, protection, and distribution of data. It helps such organizations assess their access, privacy, and security capabilities. It specifies minimum standards for carrying out organizational self-assessments as well as network alignment assessments to help multiple agencies monitor the consistency of their capabilities.

All input is welcomed and will help shape the future of Canada’s digital landscape. Give your feedback on the DGSI’s website.
