The value of the registry is the confidence established through an impartial evaluation of a defined claim against specified requirements.

A statement reflects the circumstances and evidence at the date of issuance. It does not guarantee that conditions will remain unchanged.

The conclusion applies only to the claim, object, requirements and boundaries identified in the signed statement.
No endorsement
Issuance of a statement does not constitute a general endorsement by DGC of the organization, system or service.
Facts discovered later
A statement may be revised or considered for withdrawal where facts discovered after issuance could materially affect the conclusion.
